Quiz night Dubai

Quiz night in Dubai: a live music quiz in English

Guess Melody Dubai is a quiz night where every question is a song. Teams listen to short fragments of hits, name the artist and the track, and score points round by round, while a live host keeps the evening moving. It suits friends, couples, colleagues and people who come on their own and want to meet someone new.

A quiz night where the questions are songs

A classic pub quiz tests general knowledge: capitals, dates, science and film trivia. Guess Melody swaps the question sheet for music. A fragment plays, your team talks it through and writes down the answer before the next track starts. Some rounds are about recognising the song from the first notes, others about the artist, the decade or a twist the host explains on the night. You do not need to be a musician or a trivia champion. Different people remember different songs, so a mixed team usually does better than a group of experts, and the discussion itself is half the fun.

What the evening looks like

Guests arrive, find their table and order from the venue menu. The host explains the rules and the game runs in several rounds with short breaks for dancing and singing along. Scores are announced as the evening goes on, and the strongest teams receive prizes in the final. Plan for around three hours from the first round to the final. The atmosphere is closer to a party than to an exam: people cheer when a favourite song comes on, sing into the microphone and chat with the next table between rounds.

Who comes to a music quiz night

Groups of friends book a table together, couples use it as a date night with something to do, and colleagues come for an easy team evening after work. Birthday groups are welcome too: mention the occasion in your booking note. If you are new in Dubai or simply have no team, come on your own and we will seat you with other guests on site. Many regulars started exactly that way. Teams are flexible, so a group of two can join others and a larger company can play as one team or split into two.

Dates, venues and tickets

English games appear on the schedule below with the date, Dubai time, venue and price per person in AED. Payment is made on site on the day of the game; there is no prepayment for regular games. Our programme uses Dubai venues such as Babushka at Pavilion at The Beach in JBR and Harats Republic at Radisson Blu Waterfront in Business Bay, but always check the venue on the card of the game you choose. English nights run less often than our Russian-language games, so book early when a date you like is announced.

Prefer a quiz night in Russian?

The same team runs a Russian-language music quiz most Fridays and Saturdays. It follows the same format with songs that Russian-speaking guests grew up with. If your group is comfortable in Russian, or you are looking for a Russian pub quiz in Dubai, open the Russian schedule from the related pages below. The two programmes are booked separately, so pick the language first and then the date.

Planning a team event?

For a private quiz night for your company, a client event or a large celebration, use the corporate enquiry page instead of booking a public game. Tell us the approximate date, number of guests and preferred language, and the organiser will come back with the format and price. A public game is the easiest way to try the format with a small group before planning something bigger.
